Cupcake Mania

Cupcakes in our house can cause a lot of frenzy and noise.. Fresh hot cake with Buttercream frosting is amazing. But since I am trying to lose weight right now the closest I can get is this adorable new stamp set and Punch from SU. I used Crumb Cake, Concord Crush, and Melon Mambo CS. I used the new Cupcake punch and punched out the cake bottoms in crumb cake, and the frosting in So Saffron. The cherries on top are colored in with Smooch Topcoat for a little shine. The edge is cut with the scallop border punch, and the paper behind is Melon Mambo DSP. I added some bling of course and WALA, .... a cupcake you can enjoy without the calories !!! Love it:)

Happy Birthday Flower Card

Happy Sunday!!

This is my favorite day of the week, as I get to worship the Lord with my family.

While I wait for the youth to get here. I thought I would show you one of the cards we made for the Birthday party. I have made several of these in many different colors cuz I think they look so cool:)

On this card I used Early Espresso Paper and Ink, Cherry Cobbler, So Saffron, and Old Olive CS.

The circles are 1'' and the flower is the Fancy Flower punch. The DSP is Botanical Gazette and the brown stem is from the Bird punch. The Happy Birthday is stamped from the Teeny Tiny Wishes SS and punched out with the Modern Label punch then attached with the Library Clip.

Valentines Gift Bag

So I can hardly believe February is almost here!! Didn't we just celebrate Christmas:)

So I started working on Card classes, and getting ready for Stamp Camp, and I came across these gift bags at the big W, and thought they would be perfect to make as my own.

I used Cherry Cobbler CS,Basic Black CS and Whisper White CS.

 I stamped with Cherry Cobbler and the black. The LOVE is from the filled with Love SS and the hearts are from the I heart hearts SS. I also used some retired SU pink ribbon, and used the three hearts punch and scalloped border punch. I added some bling which doesn't show up well in this picture, but I think it turned super cute, and can't wait to fill it with Valentine cheer:)

Im Blessed to call you Mother

I Love my MOM!! I really do have one of the best moms in the world!! She has always been my biggest fan, and has been such a big support in helping me be a better wife and mother.. I know Mothers Day is aways a way, but I had to try out this new SS in the Mini.. I made this for a birthday party workshop last weekend, and the girls loved it..

It is a stand up card using Baja Breeze CS, So Saffron DSP, Early Espresso CS, and Old Olive CS. The SS is Blessed Mother and I used moonlight smooch on the petals. I tied Choco Chip Ribbon, and added bling. I also used the Large oval punch, and the scalloped oval punch for the greeting.

BIRTHDAY WISHES CARD

Todays card is from the Watercolor Trio SS. The Vine and flower are colored using the Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler SU markers. The strip is Cherry Cobbler and is run through the Petals a plenty Folder using the Big Shot. The Top Note Die is used with So Saffron and the Brown is a Scallooped circle from Botantical Gazette DSP. The base of the card is Very Vanilla. I added some Bling, and added the punched holes on the Brown with the Mat Pack.

Happy Birthday Leasa~

Ok this week has been the most fun!! I had a calendar class on Thursday with ladies from Superior, then on Saturday did a workshop"Birthday Party " for my friend  Leasa in Oracle.. I love when I can stamp and play with paper so much.. I also started working on more Valentine cards for upcoming classes, and started thinking about  Stamp Camp!~

Tianna went with me this time, as there were so many women.. She did a great job!! Above is one of hte birthday gifts that I gave to one of the two ladies who birthdays it was.. This is a box from SU from long ago.. I covered it with Playdate paper, then made simple little 3X3 cards and envelopes for the inside. Super cute, super fast.. My favorite type of gifts:)

Love is in the Air alright.. Hard to believe it is time to start working on those Valentine Cards!! This is a post about the Love Layout from this months Stamp Club.. I used Pretty in Pink CS, and the paper from the Filled with Love Bundle. I also used the Bashful Blue DSP , Crumb Cake CS, and Real Red CS. I cut the DSP into strips until all together they measured 12 inches. I also used the Red Glimmer Paper in the new Occasions MINI!! Call me if you need a catalog.. 480-209-9866!!I also used the Scalloped Border Punch, and the three hearts punch, and finished it off with the White Satin Ribbon.

December Calendar Page

Yeah!! We have made it through the year with the Days to Remember Calendar from SU!! Today is the post for December.. Another one of my favorites:)

I used Cherry Cobbler CS, Basic Black CS, Old Olive CS, and Jolly Holiday DSP. I embossed the tree in black, and punched small holes for the ornaments. The star is the littlest star punch, and the embossed back is not SU:(

November Calendar Page

October Calendar Page

We are down to the last three months, and my favorites are on their way! October is not really cold here in Arizona and we don't celebrate Halloween in our house, but I couldn't resist the adorable Owl punch turned upside down to make Ghosts. I saw this trick on someones treat page, and loved it. I used some DSP from the Catalog , Basic Black CS, and Tangerine Tango CS. Spider is from SS in Mini from last time Dark & Dreary. Also, used the Oval punch, and the Modern Label punch cut in half.

Just had to add one more, since I am doing Oracles Club today.. Another great group of ladies that I love !!! This is the Valentine stand up card they will be making. I used Blushing Bride CS, Real Red CS, Basic Black CS, and the new single stamp from the new occasions mini. This is a great deal.. it is only $8.95 and the possiblity are great for this stamp and all the applications you could do with it..Stamped it twice and made the banner in black, scalloped border punched the black and added bling. Ribbon is the satin from the catalog on the page I never seem to look at, and I love this ribbon!!! Stapled through the back of the first layer, and wha la!! I am so addicted to the stand up cards.. I love how you can still fit them in the envelope and people can stand them on a desk or countertop to see at a glance:)

Off to Superior!!

I'm off to Superior to do a workshop, and I love these ladies. They make me smile, and I usually go home with a "my cheeks hurt" headache.. Always a good time.. Thought I would quickly show you the calendar they will be making:
 I love how these turned out::

I used Very Vanilla as the base, Choco Chip CS, and Greenhouse Gala DSP as the layer. The ribbon is from the ribbon punch and I used Pear Pizzazz .. The flowers are from the fancy flower punch and I used Baja Breeze CS for those and the calendar layer.. Punched holes with Mat Stack, and finished with a brad..

September Calendar Page

This post is for the September page of the Days to Remember Calendar from SU!! This is probably my favorite:) I love the Love Letters DSP, and I brayered the back black, and used Real Red CS. I punched out the Owl and used the large scallop punch for the circle and the new 2 1/2 circle punch. I also used Basic CS, and added some bling:) Hope you enjoyed the journey so far , just a couple more months:)

Todays post is the August page of the Days to Remember SU calendar. I made this one with Marina Mist DSP, Cajun Craze CS, and embossed with Elegant Bouquet folder. I punched out the bird with the punch, and even though it doesn't look like it the ribbon is Pear Pizzazz:)

April Calendar Page

Happy New Year!!

Hope you all had a great night of welcoming in 2011.

Todays Calendar page is for April, and I'm sorry the picture doesn't due it justice:) I used Concord Crush CS, Pear Pizzaz CS, and Chocolate Chip Ribbon. I also used the Scallop Oval Big Shot Die for the picture placement.

I stamped in Versamark the flower from Watercolor Trio( One of my favorite SS) than added some smooch for the center of the flower.

Well I'm off for a nap to recover from all the youth we had last night. We had a great time, just a little on the crazy side, but always love getting together with our kids.. Some even came that were in college just to say "hi"..
