2013 Scrapping Club Layouts for Christmas

Hello Ladies,

Today I wanted to show you the scrap layouts we did for Club.

This was a two page spread that had seven different techniques, and took way more than 2 hours to complete :)

 

 The left side used the SU chevron punch, doilies, snowflake framelits, Bigs Numbers, and the ornament framelits from last years catalog. The DSP across the bottom was from the new Holiday Catalog.

 

The right side we used the Bigs Bow Die, the snowflake framelits, and lots of different embossing folders forthe water fall picture area on the top right. 

I actually cut through the page protector so the pictures would be on the outside of the layout, and could be looked out without having to take out the layout.. 

Hope you enjoyed these layouts, and can find some time to sit and play yourself. 

Christmas is right around the corner, and I'm sure you will be taking lots of pictures like me:)

So Happy Together Mini

Good Morning ya'all,

Wednesday always has such a great feel to it just knowing the weekend is on its way:) Last weekend I was able to finish up some projects and I thought I would share them with you.

 This is a mini album using So Happy Together Paper Pack from Echo Park

 My camera doesn't do the colors justice.. They are so bright and bold

 and pop off the pages,,

 make ya smile when you turn the page:)

Merry Christmas!!

Howdy, 

Another day is here, and I can't sleep , so up early and feeling like creating something:) 

Christmas is around the corner, and it is time to start thinking about the Christmas cards you are going 

to be making really soon!! Did that just freak you out?? What you haven't started yet??

No Problem there are so many ideas out there to be found, and I know you will find just the right one for you!

So I am addicted to the new SU envelope punch board

But I had to make a envelope for the first Christmas card of the season:) and I love making 4X4 cards. They just seem to be the perfect quick size that fits in the palm of your hard.

Sunset Notecard

Good Morning Ladies,

So I'm hanging with at the house of my college roomate from so many years ago, and realized I still have the card in my computer with pics from cards and scrap. 

So I'm looking through and noticed this might be a technique I haven't shown before.

 This is so super simple..

I used my Stampin'UP Markers to "scribble" on the background, then stamped with Basic Black over the background..

I then stamped the greeting, and can't you can't see them, but I used our silver glitter to dot the flowers for some sparkle.. You could also use the jewels to jazz it up a bit.

August Calendar layout

Today I wanted to show you the August  Calendar layout that I created for the Superior Club. They are doing a couple layouts a month for next year.

August

 So this layout uses our Whisper White Cardstock,

 Then I stamped under the calendar numbers with an acrylic block ( I stamped ink directly onto the block then stamped on the cardstock) Super cool effect.

 Then I used the SS Tape it to create a faux washi tape look all over the paper

then followed it up with the Grunge SS.. This is a stamping set I wouldn't normally buy, but I am loving it!!

New Fall Layout

Good Morning All,

So since it is 2013, and the hottest thing is color blocking I decided to try it on my layout for November. My Superior Club as been doing 2 layouts that will be a calendar for next year, and this is the November one.

Retro Fall Layout

So I am still working on some new craftiness, but in the mean time I am gonna go back to last years Fall layout!

I loved this paper, and sketch, it has lots of room for 4 pics and journaling.. I also loved the Stampin'Up fabric from this suite.

Homecoming!!

So, on top of going to Disneyland last week, our youngest daughter Tianna went to homecoming. This is the first year she has seemed to be interested in anything in school.

I had no idea all the little things that go into a 3 hour event on a Saturday night:)

She HAD to go dress shopping with her girl friends, not me:( Big step for a mom who has done all the shopping with her daughter:)

She HAD to have the right pair of shoes ,and all the accessories.

Had to figure out how to get there, and where the after party was gonna be ,AND

CURFEW..

Not sure I'm ready for all this, but I am so proud of the loving , sweet young lady she has become, and even though these teenage years are hard, they can be a little fun:)

 All the prep work was a grandmas house:)

Disneyland !!

So , last week we were a little busy:) We took our daughter to Disneyland and has some nice time together:)

I love this look, she is totally enjoying the ride:)

 

Because of her Autism she has a really hard time waiting or doing something different, as you can see in this picture.. She didn't want to stop walking a take a picture, she is yelling Dumbo :)

She is finally saying "cheese"

So didn't get any crafty things done, but we had a good time..

MME mini album finished

Last weekend was a very productive weekend:)

Our family has been going through so much lately, and it has really been so hard on me.. I'm not sure why since we have been in crisis pretty much since our daughter started seizing at the age of 4 months.

But lately it has really been getting to me, and I just needed to play and be creative I think to get me out of my funk.......

AND PLAY I DID:)

I finished this album too this weekend, and I used the Indie Chic papers from MME

I love how it turned out, and how many pictures it can hold..

I actually made this one using one envelope style from another lady I found on YOUTUBE...

It isn't quite as big as the other one, and it uses way less envelopes, but I still like the simplicity of it.

This album is full of pockets and extra pages that go inside the extra pockets.. I hope to someday make a video, but don't think I have the time or the right camera for it.. But will try. I also, will probably teach this album as a class as long as I can still get the paper pack:)
