Mini Album Finished!!

I have been working so long on trying to finish the first Kathy Orta Mini Album I started on months ago.

I had started watching her Youtube tutorials, and followed along until I figured it out , and then made it my own.

I have also seem several albums using this paper from DCWV, and it took me forever to find some I could afford to buy, I guess its not in the stores anymore, and I loved the polaroid images it had in it.

So I am just making a random memories album , because I have tons of pics laying around that I just want to maybe put somewhere fun:) 

This was so much fun!! I'm so addicted now:)

KEEP CALM.....

 So lately,,, this has been me.. So much going on in our lives right now that I have to stay calm, but I still cry a little  (or a lot) :)



This was a 3D project we did in club a couple of months ago, and it was so fun.. We used some old paper and the Floral Fusion sizzlit.

The colors are Island Indigo, Summer Starfruit, and Raspberry Ripple.

We used the large Oval punch for the Kleenex pop out.

Added a little bling, and is now a cute little gift for a friend in need..

Purse Card Holder

Hello Purse Card Holder

 This card holder can hold a ton of cards and envelopes, and is made with one sheet of 12 X 12 paper.

Score one side at 3, turn 1/4 and score at 4 1/2 , then turn 1/4, and score again at 3, then turn 1/4 and score at 4 1/2 again.

Lastly fold all your score lines, then fold in the sides to create a pocket on the side and scortape up the sides..

Super fast and easy, and the straps are 1 inch by 11, and I used brads to insert on the side

Next, I stamped the Hello sentiment and attached with twine..

Washi Notecard

I love the Washi Tape Look!!!

 I can't seem to get enough of it, and I use it on almost every project I do now days.

So when SU came out with the Washi Tape stamp set, I was in heaven!!

Look at this Notecard quickie

 

With this card I used the Tape it SS, and used the colors Pear Pizazz , Wisteria Wonder , and  

Tangerine Tango

I stamped the sentiment, and again.. Super fast and easy:)

Holiday Single Stamps!!

Hard to believe that in 100 degree weather we could even be thinking about Christmas, but SU has such cute Christmas SS and a new Holiday Catalog, and now Single Stamps available that I want to start playing:)

Notecard Thanksgiving

I don't usually do Thanksgiving cards, but using the Notecards has been so easy that I think I might this year:)

 

 This card I did just like the Christmas, but with different colors, and I used the Maple single stamp from the new holiday catalog.

 I used the colors Old Olive, Summer Starfruit, Raspberry Ripple, and Tangerine Tango

 

I also used the Chalk Talk stamp set for the greeting, and stamped that in the Tangerine Tango, then punched out with the Large Oval Punch.

Notecard Christmas

Happy Friday from the cool pines of Prescott,

 Today I wanted to show you another quick idea using our Notecards..( Don't forget our notecards come with envelopes too) 

 This notecard uses Pool Party, and Cherry Cobbler. 

These are two of my favorite Christmas colors to use together.

 The SS is the Festive Furry, and I stamped with one Pool Party , and then stamped again to give the image  a faded look.

Next, I stamped the Cherry Cobbler over the Pool Party, and stamped the image from the SS Tiny, tiny wishes.

Finally, I added the bling, and wala!! All done!!

Again a 30 second card!!

Amazing and it looks so much better in person.

What a day, lots to do to get ready for Retreat to Prescott tomorrow, but I wanted to show you another Notecard card before I go:)

 This card is made using your SU marker to swish across the paper , then stamp with Black ink over the marker. The colors are Pear Pizzazz, Crisp Cantelope, and Pool Party.

You can't really tell, but the flowers are colored in with Cherry Cobbler. So quick and easy that it took seconds, and when you use our notecards it is unbelievably cheap, and easy!

Notecard Melon Mambo

Good Morning Ya'll.. 

Today I wanted to show you a really simple card using the Chalk talk SS.

I love the notecards that SU sells..You get 20 Whisper White cards and envelopes for $5.95, and are perfect for a quick hello:)

This card has a strip of Basic Black layered on top, and I stamps from the Chalk Talk SS with Melon Mambo ink. I then ran it through the Big Shot Framelit. I wrapped some pool party ribbon around the top, and added some bling on the corners.. Super cute.. Super fast.

Notecard Sympathy

So after all that crazy mini book stuff, and working on other projects I thought I would get back to the simpler things in card making:) I also realized that making large cards can get expensive, and SU offers these great notecards that come with the envelopes and everything.. So am thinking that this might be the start of my Christmas cards ideas..

This card is actually a sympathy card for my cousin who just lost her husband, but I like just the fast and easy way to make it ,so will probably be doing this alot in the future.

 For this card I stamped a flower from the Flower Shop SS onto some Sweater Weather paper and punched out with flower punch. I stamped the Sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes SS. 

Easy, Peasy..

Sweet Sixteen

My daughter Tianna turned Sixteen in June and I wanted her to have something special that she could start to put her favorite memories in, so I remembered I had this box from CTMH that I had never covered with paper, and I have been making the album from Hobby Lobby, and just never finished it. 

So the papers are from Echo Park

 So I covered the box and the sides with paper,

 then decided the inside needed it too!!

 This is the cover of the book I had started first... The paper is MME Kate &Co..

 Love this paper line!!

 These albums from HL have 8 chipboard pages on the inside , so plenty of room for lots of pics and journaling!!

My two precious daughters ! So young:)

 My mom had crocheted me a blanket, and I loved it so much that I got her to teach me how to crochet just so I could make one for T.. This is what hers looks like!!

 T is always helping others, and this is from VBS a LONG time ago, and her and her dad in a parade in our town.

 Tiannas 8th grad graduation.

 My parents and T, they have been such a blessing to us.. We stay with them during the week so T can attend a better school than the one in our town.

 T at 16 in San Diego for her birthday.

Lots of more space for future memories.....

Hello Summer Mini Album

Hello Summer Mini Album

This album is an acrylic staggered page album from a class I taught at Hobby Lobby this summer.

This Paper is from Echo Park, and has great vibrate colors.

 

We had such a great time using the Oval spellbinders to create pages, and the sticker sheet made it so easy to add our own special touch.

The papers were easy to layer, and we used some of the journal cards for places to frame out pictures.

This was an easy pocket created by different stripes of paper, than used the journal cards to use as pic. slots or journal spots.

Again, I used the sticker to create a fun page.

Final page we used the Oval spellbinders, and then the umbrellas from the sticker sheet..

I love this paper page kit, so fun to work with.
