Just got done playing with the new products for the Occasions Mini coming out on the 4th of January.. You should be very excited! There are some amazing things in that new little catalog.

Here is the card we will be making in the 3 for Club.

It is a center stair step card so the middle pops out.. You can't see it well in the picture but it stands up really nice.

Recipe:

Blushing Bride  CS, Pear Pizzazz CS, Island Indigo CS and ink. Riding Hood red ribbon, and the Word Play SS. I also used the 3 heart punch, and the stamps from I heart you. Plus a 1 inch circle to make the flower. Don't forget the bling!!

Superior Stamp Camp

FUN!FUN!FUN!

So yesterday was the last Camp, and it was in Superior:) Had a great time making basically 7 projects ,as the double layout they saved for a later time:)

Spicery Luncheon for Moms Birthday

So I gave Mom the choice of where to have her lunch for her birthday, and

she decided the Spicery it is!!!

The Spicery is an old tea house restaurant located in Downtown Glendale. We have spent wonderful

breakfasts and lunches there when I was in high school, and I had my wedding breakfast there with all my bridesmaids..

Love this place:)

This is Martha the owner who worked it when I got married. She later sold it, and then she bought it back and reopened it this past year.. looks and tastes as great as it did back then!!

Chocolate Gratitude

This was one of the Stamp Camp projects. Inside it holds 4 Hershey Nuggets of Chocolate love:)

This box was made using Stampin'UP!s Matchbox Die for the Big Shot. I used the Spice Cake paper ( boy , am I gonna miss this paper when its gone:(   )  The tag also comes with the die, and is sprayed with Frosted Shimmer paint and alcohol.

The flower is made from 6 Large Scallop Circle punches, and you just put a brad in the middle and pull each layer all the way up and crinkle till it is a tight form. Then you pull apart slightly till you like how it looks. 

Here you can see the flower better, but you can't see how the whole box has been sprayed with the homemade glimmer spray.. Love it, and would make a great party favor, or small gift of gratitude to someone special..

Male Scrapbook Layout

The girls have been after me to design a couple of pages that can be used for a dude:) This is just one side of a double layout, as I can't seem to find the other side..  The thought was that the other side was a larger 8X8 frame so that you could do one big picture of the event, and then on this side....

have a space to place smaller pictures and journal of the same event. This layout used SU. Well Worn Designer Series Paper, and layered on Night of Navy Cardstock.

Stamp Set is Grunge Rock, and I stamped the argle type stamp on the back then layered with the DSP. I also used the button embosslite, mini closepins, brads,and scalloped edge punch for added visual fun!!

Stamp Camp Sweetness

I actually got this idea from a Fall event with Diann Gibbs, and I loved the ability to be able to put a gift card in the back and to hang on the tree!! So Sweet!!

I used Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, and Whisper White CS. Cut out Cherry Cobbler with the Large Scallop Die, Then cut the Old Olive out and cut in half. I used the Red Tape to secure it to the back leaving a pocket for the card.

The front uses the Letters to Santa paper, and small scallop punch. I stamped the To-From image and attached to the small scallop circle which I also used the Mat Stack and piercer to make holes around the edges:)

Happy Birthday To Me Scrap Party!! Tucson

For my 41st birthday I wanted to scrap with my Homies, so we went to the most amazing place in Tucson called Pages in Progess. They have die-cut machines and lots of brands to shop for !!

BEST birthday ever.. Thanks girls for making me feel so special and for coming out to play with me!!

Thought since I have a moment I would throw up some pics for Stamp Camp!! Even though Camp has been cancelled out clubs will be doing the kits:) Ya!!

This cute box is made with our Kraft boxes that are in our Holiday Catalog. The flowers are cut from the fancy flower punch, large scallop punch, and circle punches. Used Melon Mambo paper, and Old Olive CS for the leaves.Threw on some bling and pearls.

Wrapped the box with the Flirtatious fabric.

Fun little 3X3

I love the new in-colors, so decided to sit and play with some little 3X3 cards  to see what I come up with..

I think they are so cute!! What do you think?? They are so fast and easy, and use 2 of the new colors, Wisterian, and Lucky Limeade..I love how the Melon Mambo butterfly gives it some extra POP!!
I also used some of the new Lucky Limeade ruffled ribbon.. It's so easy to work with.. I love it:)

Been gone toooo long:)

So it's been a month since I posted last, but believe me life has been exciting this past month!! We put Tianna in Phoenix Christian High School, and her and I have been driving back and forth to stay with Mom and Dad. She loves it and I am still getting used to living in two homes.. I so miss my own house, and my oldest daughter who stays here with Dale and goes to her Day Program each day.. She always seems so glad to see me, and greets me with "there's the mommy". We are getting settled in though, and Tianna is loving it.. But that being said I have still been scrapping and carding when I sit down.. Last night Dale made me another wall unit for my scrap room, and as soon as I get the room organized I'll post some pics.

Rainy Day Cardmaking!

Here is Sunny Kearny, Az we don't get much rain.. So when it does rain, I go a little goofy and go out in it, but it has been raining a couple of days now, and it just felt like a perfect time to sit by my window and card. 

I have had several people ask me about gift card holders you can mail, and I found this template that is super easy! The gift card area is cut with the word window punch and slides in nicely:)

The paper is from the new In Colors, new punch,watercolor, smooch, and Boho Blossom punch.. All from Stampin'UP!

Well it has started to really rain, and I'm heading back to my desk by the window to enjoy the view..

It's Personal:)

So I thought I would through in some personal stuff today, since it has been my driving force these last couple of weeks.

For those of you that don't know, my oldest daughter Tirzah has autism, and she turned 18 this month!!

Her favorite thing to do is go to disneyland, but since it is hot this time of year, school starts, and we never have any money this time of year we went to her second favorite place..

Here she is with sister, Tianna, waiting to get on the go-carts.. She loves to yell" On no" when you go sharp around the corner:)

She loves to ride the train, and I thank God she can still fit in it.. I don't know what we will do when they say she is too big:)

And her favorite ride is the Teacups!! She just sits and casually rides around the ride, while the rest of the cups get spun, and she loves to laugh at the other kids.

I don't know where the time has gone.. all I know is that God is the great sustainer, and He has been so faithful to us through the years!!

We love you Tirz!! Happy Birthday Girl!!

Gift Card #2

This is a gift card I created for a good friend of mine:) I love the new in colors, so I chose Pool Party for the outside, used an old cuttlebug folder for the front. The SS is an old SU flowerpot that I watercolored just for her. I used the scalloped punches and the large circle punch for the front pic, than popped up the circle and tucked the scalloped underneath to keep closed. Stampined inside with stamp from God Blessings SS, then used the window punch to create the space for the gift card in the middle:)
