Rainy Day Cardmaking!

Here is Sunny Kearny, Az we don't get much rain.. So when it does rain, I go a little goofy and go out in it, but it has been raining a couple of days now, and it just felt like a perfect time to sit by my window and card. 

I have had several people ask me about gift card holders you can mail, and I found this template that is super easy! The gift card area is cut with the word window punch and slides in nicely:)

The paper is from the new In Colors, new punch,watercolor, smooch, and Boho Blossom punch.. All from Stampin'UP!

Well it has started to really rain, and I'm heading back to my desk by the window to enjoy the view..

It's Personal:)

So I thought I would through in some personal stuff today, since it has been my driving force these last couple of weeks.

For those of you that don't know, my oldest daughter Tirzah has autism, and she turned 18 this month!!

Her favorite thing to do is go to disneyland, but since it is hot this time of year, school starts, and we never have any money this time of year we went to her second favorite place..

Here she is with sister, Tianna, waiting to get on the go-carts.. She loves to yell" On no" when you go sharp around the corner:)

She loves to ride the train, and I thank God she can still fit in it.. I don't know what we will do when they say she is too big:)

And her favorite ride is the Teacups!! She just sits and casually rides around the ride, while the rest of the cups get spun, and she loves to laugh at the other kids.

I don't know where the time has gone.. all I know is that God is the great sustainer, and He has been so faithful to us through the years!!

We love you Tirz!! Happy Birthday Girl!!

Gift Card #2

This is a gift card I created for a good friend of mine:) I love the new in colors, so I chose Pool Party for the outside, used an old cuttlebug folder for the front. The SS is an old SU flowerpot that I watercolored just for her. I used the scalloped punches and the large circle punch for the front pic, than popped up the circle and tucked the scalloped underneath to keep closed. Stampined inside with stamp from God Blessings SS, then used the window punch to create the space for the gift card in the middle:)

Pennant punch card

Hope you are all having a great day!! Today was Tiannas first day at Phoenix Christian and she is so excited!! It looks to be a good year:)

I totally love this new punch!! It is so fast! I used colors pulled from the Color Coach so I could kick it up a knotch.. I so would have never put these 3 together , but I love it!

Marina Mist, Rich Razzleberry, and Pumpkin Pie are the ink, DSP, and the back Pennant is in Old Olive. I look forward to using this punch a lot.. My head is full of uses for this punch.. I hope to post a 12 X12 layout from club soon!!

In ColorTake 2

This card is one of SU notecards.It is the perfect size for a quick note to say "Hello". This card is made with all new products from the New Catalog!!

New In Colors.. I love them!!

This was a CASE from the Stampin'UP! Success magazine we demonstrators get each month.. It's full of ideas and I loved the idea they had , but I had to use cupcakes.. In our house sugar is always the word of the day. The five new IN Colors are really beautiful together or mixed seperately:) I also used the Cupcake punch, and modern label punch.You can't see it on the pic, but the cupcake have smooch on them for some sparkle and I used our crimper to give the cupcake the feel of liners.

Wedding gift card holder

One of the girls from our youth group got married a couple of weeks ago, and we weren't able to go because we were in New Mexico with family, but I wanted to make her something nice to put her gift card in. Kearny Stamp Club

Friday night was Kearny Club night, and we had a blast. They make (2) 12 X 12 layouts and this time we used the Just Add Cake DSP. This picture is a Happy Birthday layout.

This lady did a Fourth of July layout. We also used the new Pennant punch and Stamp Set.

This layout was also a Fourth of July layout, and I love how each ladies layout came out totally different, and took on a personality of its own:)
