Three day in a row.. WOW!! not sure how that happened:) This is the last of the "MOM" chipboard books. This book is from SEI's Juliette paper collection. I love how the look is vintage and timeless. Used SU inks and punches Nestabillities scalloped die cuts, and SEI paper idea.. Super easy.!

Yeah,
Day 2.. This is an acrylic MOM book. I love the look of the acrylic and that you can see through and use rub ons.. This book contains many Big Shot folders, die cuts and butterflies.. I just cut the butterflies out of some paper and used Mod Podge Sparkle to give them glimmer. These pics don't give them justice.. They are really beautiful.. These albums are so easy to do, and they go together pretty fast.. The hardest part is deciding what paper, ribbon, and embellishments to use.. So I use a little of everything.

MOM chipboard book

Well it's about that time again.. Time to put something on my blog.. I am so not faithful at this, and find it hard to get to it:) Today is a finished Mom Chipboard book.. I love to make these books, and give them as gifts. Todays book is actually made with some K& Company paper from way back, but it reminded me of my mom and the colors that she loves. Each book is pre-made so pictures can be added as needed or wordy sentiments can be placed in the pic boxes.. Hope ya like.. I will try to put one up tomorrow:) Let's see if I can do it!!

Chipboard Album #2

This is a chipboard "MOM" album. It has 6 pages that are pre-made, so all you have to do is add the pictures. I created it using DCWV Garden Stack paper. It has great pinks, greens, and browns. It also has a great variety of patterned and floal papers. I used the scalloped edge nestibiliaties(?) that I ran through the Stampin'UP! Big Shot. I also used several Sizzix folders that had great embossing looks. I used the new Butterfly die for the Big Shot to make the cute butterflies that kind of fly through the album. This chipboard album has different edges that give it a little pop and visually breaks up the look. One of my favorites and hope to recreate again.

Ok, it's been like 2 months since I've blogged a thing. Life is crazy like that, and our house is no different. Christmas has come and gone, a New Year has creeped in and already January is almost over.. I have been having lots of fun playing with my paper and chipboard. I made several albums and sold them so I thought I will try and put a new one on here everday so I have a record of them. I have found that the black chipboard seems to sell better.. Not sure why,, thinking maybe it has a cleaner, more stand out look:)
This album is a 6 X 6 abum and is made with some old scraps I had from American Craft, and it has 6 pages.I covered each page differetly using buttons, ribbon,Big Shot,Folders, and Stampin'UP ink.

chipboard coaster Friend gift

Sorry about the bad pic,,camera wn't cooperae..Ok, still trying to get the hang of all this while busy doing classes, and creating.. I love chipboard and todays blog is just a simple 4X4 chipboard coaster that I transformed into a hanging gift for a friendI covered it with retired Tea Time DSP and used stamp from Flowering Blooms. The flower is a Stampin'UP 5 petal flower punch and the little guys are the trio flower punch. I embossed the flower paper than sanded it to make it pop. I love the colors and can't wait to give it to one of my best friends at her Stampin' Up party. Hope you like what ya see, and want to get out there and make something for someone special today:)
